David Catalán designs the new uniforms for Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel
David Catalán has been chosen to design the uniforms for the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel team during the summer of 2023. This collection, called Ushuaïa by Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent David Catalán, aims to combine comfort, design, and innovation. The collection showcases the designer's focus on sustainability and attention to detail. The uniforms will give personality and identity to the hotel's operational team, and will be presented on April 21, 2023, at the start of the hotel's summer season.
"I am very happy to take on this challenge, which is a great opportunity to showcase my work and continue to raise the profile of my brand. With this new collection, I have aimed to create eye-catching, current and, above all, comfortable pieces that reflect the character and spirit of the experience that is lived inside the hotel," said David Catalán.
The union between Mercedes-Benz and Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel aims to support emerging talent and serve as a platform for new creators who represent the future of Spanish fashion. The collaboration is part of other Mercedes-Benz initiatives, such as the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent competition, which just celebrated its 10th anniversary in February 2013. The brand supports designers who promote slow fashion, author design, and local production, as well as upcycling. As part of the prize, the winner of the competition has the opportunity to present their creations on one of the international catwalks of Mercedes-Benz.
